OSCAR SILVA
Oscar Silva received his BFA in Studio Art from Southwest Texas State university in 1983 and his MFA in Fiber and Sculpture from the University of North Texas in 1993. He has exhibited his work in many regional, national, and international competitions for which he has received numerous awards. His works have been shown at Baylor University, St. Edwards University, Mexic-Arte Museum, and the clay and Fiber Gallery in Taos, New Mexico. He has taught weaving at the University of North Texas and 3-D Design at Southwest Texas State University. His work can be found in a number of private collections throughout the United States.
